Class of 2010

 

• One of the original players of the WNBA, she started 220 straight games for the New York Liberty while leading the Liberty to three WNBA Championship appearances

• Five-time WNBA All-Star and two-time WNBA Defensive Player of the Year

• A two-time Kodak All American at Louisiana Tech and led the Lady Techsters to the 1988 National Championship

• She was the 1988 Wade Trophy winner and was also a member of the 1988 Olympic Gold Medal Team

• Still ranks 3rd in career assists (1,338) and 8th in career steals (465) in the WNBA

• As the head coach of the Louisiana Tech women’s basketball team, she was the recipient of the 2010 Maggie Dixon Division I Rookie Coach of the Year award
