  • Has compiled a 795-186 worksheet in 30 seasons as the head women’s basketball coach at Illinois Central College
  • Has guided ICC to four National Junior College Athletic Association Division II national championships (1992, 1993, 1998, and 1999) as well as 19 berths overall in NJCAA national tourneys
  • List of National Coach of the Year accolades includes being named National Junior/Community College Basketball Coach of the Year by the Stayfree Corporation in 1981 and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association in both 1988 and 1998 as well as the National Junior College/Community College Division II Coach of the Year by the NJCAA in 1992, 1993, 1998, and 1999
  • International coaching experience includes serving as an assistant coach for the U.S. team which claimed a silver medal at the 1981 World University Games as well as serving as an assistant coach for U.S. Select Teams in both 1981 and 1986
  • Also coached softball at Illinois Central College with a 28-year record of 840-309 and is the only coach in the history of NJCAA athletics to win a national championship in both basketball and softball in the same year (1998)
