In 2005, Pat Summitt became the first coach in NCAA basketball history, men's or women's, to reach 1,000 career wins, a milestone that redefined what was possible on the sideline. Nearly two decades later, Geno Auriemma carried that standard even further, becoming the winningest coach in NCAA basketball history, men's or women's, at any division. This exhibit celebrates milestone win totals across every level of the game, from NCAA programs to NJCAA and high school basketball, honoring the coaches who raised the bar for everyone who came after them. On display, visitors will find memorabilia from UConn's various national championship runs under Auriemma, along with items from Stanford's national championship win under Tara VanDerveer. It's proof that raising the bar isn't a moment, it's a career.
