• Was Louisiana Tech's only three-time Kodak All-American (1980, 1981, 1982)
• Won two national championships — the 1981 AIAW title and the 1982 NCAA title — leading the Lady Techsters to a dominating 69-1 record over those two seasons
• Scored in double figures in 140 of her 153 games at Louisiana Tech, averaging 19.4 points and 9.8 rebounds during her collegiate career
• Won the Wade Trophy and the Broderick Award as the nation's most outstanding female college basketball player (1982)
• Scored 2,979 points and grabbed 1,511 rebounds while compiling a 143-10 career record, the most wins ever over a four-year period in program history
