Geno Auriemma

• Has compiled an all-time record of 1,288-166 (.886) over 41 seasons as head coach at the University of Connecticut, the best winning percentage and the most wins in NCAA Division I basketball history, men's or women's
• Guided the Huskies to a record 12 NCAA Championships (1995, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2025)
• Led UConn to a record 25 NCAA Final Four appearances, including an NCAA-record 14 consecutive from 2008-2022
• Coached six perfect (undefeated) seasons: 35-0 (1995), 39-0 (2002), 39-0 (2009), 39-0 (2010), 40-0 (2014), and 38-0 (2016)
• Led UConn to the two longest winning streaks in college basketball history, men's or women's: 70 straight games (2001-2003), later broken by his own program's streaks of 90 games (2008-2010) and a record 111 games (2014-2017)
• Served as an assistant coach for the USA's gold medal-winning Olympic team (2000)
• Served as head coach of the USA Women's National Team for eight years, leading Team USA to Olympic gold medals in 2012 and 2016 and FIBA World Championship gold medals in 2010 and 2014
• Has received National Coach of the Year recognition 24 times combined (eight Naismith, nine AP, seven WBCA), along with 18 conference Coach of the Year honors
• Has led UConn to 61 combined conference regular season and tournament championships
