Hazel Walker

• Was a 7-time AAU All-American over her amateur career
• Played for five different teams during her 14-year amateur career
• Won an AAU national championship with the Tulsa Business College Stenos (1934)
• Won three AAU national championships with Little Rock's Lewis and Norwood Flyers (1937, 1940, 1941)
• Posted four runner-up finishes and advanced to the Final Four three additional times during her amateur career
• Won the National Free Throw Championship six times (1938, 1939, 1940, 1943, 1945, 1946)
• Named the Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year (1940)

• Played three seasons of professional basketball with Olson's All American Red Heads (1946-1949)
