  • Guided teams to eight NAIA National Tournament appearances, finishing fourth in 1985
  • Provided distinguished leadership to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)
  • Served on the NAIA's Division I National Tournament Committee and National Division of Competition Committee
  • Was also District Basketball Chair and District Basketball Rater and a member of the District Executive Committee
  • Was a member of the NAIA's Kodak All-America Selection Committee
  • Served on USA Basketball's Olympic Selection Committee (1992, 1996)
  • Retired in 2012 as the winningest coach in NAIA history at the time
