Kim Mulkey

• Played on Louisiana state championship teams all four years at Hammond High School
• Played at Louisiana Tech, reaching the Final Four each of her four seasons and winning an AIAW national championship, en route to an overall record of 130-6 (1980-84, AIAW title 1981)
• A two-time Academic All-American
• Won a gold medal at the U.S. Olympic Festival (1981)
• Won an NCAA national title at Louisiana Tech (1982)
• Won a gold medal at the Pan American Games (1983)
• Played on the United States women's basketball team that captured the gold medal at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles
• Served 15 years as an assistant coach at Louisiana Tech, the last four years as associate head coach; during her tenure, the Lady Techsters went 403-63, won an NCAA national championship in 1988, and advanced to the Final Four seven more times (1985-2000)
• Named head coach at Baylor University, where she built the program into a national power, winning three NCAA national championships (2005, 2012, 2019) (2000-21)
• Named head coach at LSU, winning an NCAA national championship in her second season (2023) (2021-present)
• Is the only person in college basketball history — men's or women's — to win national championships as a player, an assistant coach, and a head coach
